1. Reservation
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all bookings and transactions made at Basement Studios. By making a reservation or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these conditions.
Basement Studios is a men-only, adults-only property. Every staying guest must be at least 18 years old.
To book a stay, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your personal details, requested dates and number of guests. Your reservation is confirmed only when you receive a booking reference and confirmation from us. If you do not receive confirmation, contact us on +34 928 763 835 or at info@basementstudios.eu.
2. Check-in and check-out
Guests must respect the check-in and check-out times so accommodation can be cleaned and prepared.
Check-in is available from 14:00 until 00:00. The room is available from 14:00 unless early check-in has been confirmed.
At check-in, a temporary security hold of €150 is pre-authorised on a valid payment card. This is not an accommodation charge. The hold is released at check-out once the accommodation has been checked and no damage, missing items, exceptional cleaning or unpaid charges are found. Your bank or card issuer controls how quickly the released funds become available again.
Check-out is from 09:00 and the room must be vacated by 12:00 unless late check-out has been confirmed; additional charges may apply.
3. Rates and payment
All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card at the time of booking and during the stay, unless otherwise indicated. The customer’s card will be charged 100% of the total reservation amount. The displayed accommodation price includes the applicable 7% accommodation tax and up to two guests. Each additional guest is charged at €30 per night.
Optional extras are shown separately before they are added. Air conditioning is charged at €3 per day of the stay and safe hire at €2 per night when selected.
4. Modification and cancellation
For changes to guest numbers or stay dates, contact Basement Studios directly by phone or email. We will try to accommodate the request subject to availability; a price change may apply.
Cancellation charges are calculated against the total reservation price:
- Within 7 days before arrival: 100%.
- Within 8 days before arrival: 90%.
- Within 22 days before arrival: 85%.
- Within 29 days before arrival: 50%.
- Within 56 days before arrival: 25%.
- Free cancellation is available until 60 days before arrival.
Applicable refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days. No refund is given for early departure or unused nights unless the reservation states otherwise.
5. Guest responsibilities and conduct
Guests must respect the property, its safety rules and other guests. Guests are responsible for the cleanliness and condition of their accommodation. Where applicable, damage, missing items, exceptional cleaning or unpaid charges may be recovered from the €150 security hold or charged separately if they exceed it. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, and the property is not liable for loss, theft or damage.
Quiet hours begin at 23:00. Parties and loud events are not permitted. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, including rooms; designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Breach of the indoor non-smoking rule may result in cleaning and deodorisation charges.
Basement Studios aims to provide a safe, enjoyable stay but cannot be held responsible for incidents beyond its control. Tell reception immediately about any problem so appropriate steps can be taken. In unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters or pandemics, management may adjust cancellation terms and will communicate relevant changes promptly.
For an accepted room-move itinerary, every displayed segment forms one booking and the guest agrees to move to the named room on the stated date.
